Our 16mm, 25mm, 35mm & 50mm Aluminium Venetians come in a wide variety of colours and are all made from the finest imported Swedish slat.

We offer custom trimmings on all the Aluminium Venetians, giving them a stylish finish.

Our Aluwood Venetians are Aluminium slats with a wood print, which gives a wood appearance without the cost of real wood. All our Aluwood Venetians come standard with real wood trimmings, giving them a real wood finish.

This is the ultimate window covering with elegance and style. Our wood Venetians come in a wide variety of colours to match your décor. Our Wood Venetians are made from the finest Bass wood, which is proven to be the best wood for making Venetian Blinds.

We also offer Laminated Bass wood. This is Bass wood laminated together and then wrapped with a pvc wood print.

Our Plass wood blinds are PVC which has been moulded and printed to look like real wood. We mainly use the PVC in areas with high humidity, like bathrooms, as it is more suited to moisture than real wood is.

We have extensively tested our PVC Venetians, and we are one of the few companies in South Africa that guarantee our PVC not to warp from UV exposure in the South African climate.

We offer a wide variety of fabrics from light filtering to total blockout vertical blinds. Our head rail system is one of the best available in the market. We also offer vertical blinds made from PVC or Aluminium for special applications.

We offer an excellent selection of roller blind fabric to suit your taste and budget. Our roller blinds come with a side control to raise and lower the blind in any position.

Our roller screen is in essence a roller blind which stops glare and UV exposure, but still allows the user a view. We use the Sheerweave 2000 & Sheerweave 4500 fabrics for this purpose. It is a woven, high tech fabric comprised of fibreglass and vinyl. It has a UV blockage of 95% and an openness factor of 5%. It is also flame retardant and Greenguard certified.

Our Roman blinds are made with side controls which will stop the blind in any position. We have a wide variety of fabrics, which have been specifically tested for using as Roman blinds, as not all fabrics are suited for this purpose.

Our Bamboo and Woven wood blinds come standard with cord lock and matching valance. The cord lock will stop the blind in any position and we can make your Bamboo or Woven Wood blind work like a Roller or Roman blind. We offer a wide selection of exquisite weaves.

We offer Duette and Plissè blinds in total blockout or light filtering fabrics to suit your application.

Skylight blinds are manufactured using either Duette or Plissè blinds. Duette blinds are the best Skylight blinds available in South Africa.

We can print any graphics on your Venetian or Vertical blinds. Further more you can also print different graphics on the front and the back of the blind, giving you the ability to change your graphic by simply tilting the blind in the desired direction.

We can manufactured 25 mm aluminium Venetian blinds to fit between the glass of your double glazing windows or doors. The blind is controlled with a special mechanism that gives it full functionality.

Somerset Blinds can offer you roller blinds made from solar film in a wide variety of Shades and colours. The advantage of having solar film on a roller blind, is that you can control it as you like. Lift it up in winter to warm a room or put it down in summer to cool the room.
